Closing out day 2 of my detox it’s about 9:45pm and I am feeling for something else to eat. According to the detox schedule my last meal is no later than 6pm. This is a little difficult for me since I am a night person. Although I know that one of the reasons that I gained so much weight is because I eat late at night. Apparently your metabolism slows down after 8pm which is why you should eat early. I think this is going to be challenging for me. I probably should go to the gym in the morning instead of the evenings because going after I eat I am burning off most of the calories of my meal, that may be why I am feeling a little hungry. I will try to go to the gym before dinner tomorrow and see how that works out.
On another note, I am really determined to get to my goal weight. I want to get to a place where I feel good and look good and all I have to do is maintain my weight. Staying healthy should make this possible but it really sucks going up and down and not being able to indulge because I’ve over-indulged too much already. More importantly I want to stick to this detox as a kick-start to my healthy lifestyle. Learning more about the foods I eat and exercising is not just about how I look and feel it is also because breast cancer and diabetes run in my family and I want to take control of my health so that I can hopefully avoid those types of problems in my future. I have a lot to live for so I am going to work my hardest at sticking around.
