Tonight I performed at my Aunt Vaneeva’s retirement party. I was so honored to be a part of it because she is the definition of a phenomenal woman! She worked at the University of Hartford and sent four of her six kids to college. The rest of them still received degrees most of them have their masters. She brought the union to her job and took a stand for everyone that she loved. She is amazing! I am so happy to be a part of her.
Tonight I also learned that you must have faith in the talents that God gave you. I swear I stress out before every single show. It can be a show of ten thousand or a show of ten and I stress out the same. I am so thankful to God for his grace and his will. I will never waver on that. I really believe I am going to make it because I am led by God without him I am absolutely nothing! I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
And my family, oh my God! My Uncle Rob stood by me tonight and said “I have your back! I know you are nervous but when you go up there I want you to know I have your back!! Oh, God how my heart melted. My Aunt Sonia reassured me the whole way that I would be ok and she never wavered. I love my family so much! Thank you God for them. Thank you so much God! You are amazing!
I love you God! I thank you for my family and the strength that I got from them. I don’t know where I would be without them. I love you and I love the family that you gave me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
