“Wide Open”: Coming to New Haven, CT

WO Bregamos2It has been a long time coming…I am excited to announce that Bregamos Community Theater presents, “Wide Open”. The show will run for two days Friday February, 28th and the Saturday March 1st both showings starting at 8pm.  If you’ve seen the show when it ran in CT in 2010 and 2011 seeing it again will be a new experience.  The show has grown over the years, although keeping the essence and passion of the original show the charter development has increased tremendously.

Bregamos Community Theater has the soul of an artistic space.  It embraces and cultivates new, raw talent.  When you walk in you truly feel like you are going to be emerged in an artistic experience.  Founder Rafael Ramos and artistic director Sharece M. Sellem have been so open and gracious to the Wide Open team allowing us to bring this work back to CT and giving us this creative space to show this work on its next level.

I can’t even begin to describe how overjoyed I am to be back in CT with this show.  I am probably more nervous than anything, but I know nerves are a good sign – or at least that’s what they say.  “Wide Open” is a project that is very dear to my heart, especially since the story is so close to me.  And like I always say if it touches just one person there then I will know all the hard work was all worth it.  I really hope you enjoy the show, I know we enjoy you being there.

So come one come all!  Tickets are available online @ www.wideopenstageplay.eventbrite.com .  Hope to see you there.

Special thank you to God for keeping this show going! To Team Wide Open: Maurice Clark, (Director & Choreographer) Tarishi MIDNIGHT Shuler (Co-Star) Henry Lewis (Sound and Lighting Tech) for always being there!  And for all the people who have always supported the vision!
