Travels – – – Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

If I could fit everything I owned into one bag strap it to my back and travel the world I would. How much could I possibly need? All my toiletries could fit into a small case, about a months worth of underwear, socks and bras, couple tee shirts and jeans and two pairs of sneakers. That’s about all I would need.

I had an epiphany tonight. It showed me my whole world in a nut shell. Exactly what I should be focusing on, where I am headed and what I need to do to get there. The great thing about this is that I am already headed in the right direction. I just have to smooth out some edges and get my Adult A.D.D. in check. But in a nutshell I’m not to far off.

My Father’s birthday is in 10 minutes. He is going to be the big 50! I have a wonderful father. I couldn’t have asked for a better Dad. He is such an inspiration in my life. He is so loving and supportive of me. Even when I think I am a waste of space he has a way of letting me know that he is proud of me and the woman that I have become. But the truth is, if it weren’t for him I would not be the woman that I am today. He showed me exactly what a real man is and made sure I knew not to accept any less. He also instilled in me how I should behave as a woman that is deserving of a honest, respectful man. More importantly he raised me to know my worth, respect myself and go after my dreams. He is an amazing man and I am so thankful to God that I have him in my life for another year!!!!
