So, I took a part time job to make some holiday money at Macy’s in the SHOE department! Now, as everyone knows me and shoes have a personal relationship that goes back as far as I can remember. Shoe’s talk to me, they invade my dreams and haunt me if I don’t buy them. I can remember being around 7 years old after my mother took me shopping for new shoes, before going to bed one particular night I got on my knees and prayed to God to wake me up in the morning so that I can wear my new shoes. Now, of course there are many other things to pray for but at that particular time in my life this was moi importante!!! LOL
Anywho, I absolutely love this job! I have been my own boss for the last 2 1/2 year working diligently for my company, By Renee Visions publishing books, producing shows, doing PR, hosting, acting, etc. This has been good but in reality I am still in the start up phases of business and financially I am investing everything into it so it never hurts to make a little extra money and in my case what better pass time could I conjure up??? None, actually.
Therefore, I decided to include this venture of mine into my “Shoe Crazy” reports because working in Macy’s shoe department is actually broadening my shoe addiction. I am falling in love with shoes that I usually would not look at twice. I even am desiring to purchase a couple pair of FLATS!! Yikes!!! I have to admit I am a goner! I ask you all to please pray for me that I don’t invest all my extra holiday cash back into Macy’s. I will keep you all updated on my progress. But for now take a look at some of my favorite looks that are out in the store right now….they are sooooo cute!!!!!
Also, Did you know Grammy award winning Carlos Santana had a woman’s shoe line available at Macy’s??? Yes, he does and let me tell you he knows what women want. Take a look at some of his style that I just love.
